As a prolific artist specialising in character based illustrations, the objective of my practice is to create interesting imagery both visually and narratively. The subject matter of my artwork primarily focuses on people, I have a real passion for characters in fiction and the narrative that accompanies them.  

Originally studying to be a comic illustrator and storyboard artist, the aesthetic of my artwork has a bold comic style, I am inspired by artists like Brian Bolland and Tim Burton for their heavy use of black and white contrast.

I mainly work digitally but I also enjoy a traditional approach to drawing using pen and ink.
